Situated on one of the oldest squares in Ronda, “Plaza Ruedo de Alameda” and just in front of the beautiful Almocábar Gate you will find “Bodega San Francisco” a popular eating place for both tourists and locals alike. Founded in 1998 and run by the friendly and hospitable owners Paco and Paqui it boasts a varied selection of hot and cold tapas at reasonable prices together with a good choice of traditional dishes.

The owners have recently extended the Bodega with “Restaurante San Francisco” which has a seating capacity for 140 people making it an ideal venue for celebrations and business functions. The restaurant is attractively decorated in the Andalusian style and has a warm, inviting and informal atmosphere. The house specialities include

• Esparragos Gratinados/Asparagus with grated Parmesan Cheese,
• Brocheta de Solomillo, Grilled Iberian Pork Sirloin Kebabs,

The Bodega was previously named “Bodega El Pino” and was renown for its good food and drink a tradition it carries on today. Why not have a glass of local wine or a beer accompanied by one of the Bodega’s famous “Serranitos” (small bread roll filled with grilled meat, peppers and tomatoes) – delicious!
